My next competition is the Triathlon Short Course World Championships on October 9, 2005 in Honolulu, Hawaii. This will be the final event of my triathlon season. In May, when I competed in my very first triathlon, I never expected that I'd be months away from competing with the best of the best at the World Championships. What an honor to represent the USA and to be amongst the elite caliber athletes from around the world. I am overcome with gratitude.
